We are very excited to share an upcoming event happening here in Ottawa on May 6th. The Swap Team, an amazing group of hundreds of dedicated volunteers from across the country, is coming to Ottawa and showing us how to pull off the mother of all clothes swaps.

 

We at Ef are proud to support this swap and are happy to announce that we’ll help curate the donated pieces prior to the event to ensure that you all have a fabulous selection of items to choose from. We’ll also be on site along with some of Ottawa’s best fashion stylists and bloggers to help you style your new wardrobe.

Our own exploration into the world of clothes swaps started a year and a half ago at the home of the Hub Ottawa‘s Jane Porter. Then, this past November, we hosted our first ever Swapapalooza at Bowich for Apartment 613‘s Support Local month. Both experiences were so much fun and the feeling of walking away with a bag full of clothing FOR FREE, is pretty darn wonderful.

The Swap Team’s clothes swap is going to knock the socks off of all other swaps and set a precedent here in the city. With hundreds of guests expected to attend, stylists on hand, great sponsors, prizes and treats, you won’t want to miss out.
