I enjoyed the last drops of summer with my family on a stunning beach on the north shore of Prince Edward Island. With my lovely sister as the heroine of this salut to summer, we captured the sun, red sand, and the beautifully organic creations of Italian jeweller, Francesca Mancini of Giardinoblu. Mancini was kind enough to let me fly her creatures to “Anne’s island” for what I knew would be a great and creative family experience. Unexpectedly, these images remind me of teenage angst and the sadness that follows the end of summer along with the hope and adventure that awaits the young.
